I enjoy finding new music, and had the pleasure the other day of running across the musical duo, "She and Him," composed of Zooey Deschanel and Matt Ward. That's right. Zooey Deschanel, of Elf, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Tin Man, yada yada yada. SO the point being...the wide-eyed young lady can sing. And sing rather well at that. She and Matt Ward have produced an album and are in the midst of producing another one...unfortunately I have not had the good fortune to go listen to it yet. BUT there are two singles up on YouTube. They're cute, unusual music videos that contain an almost 50s style arrangement. The songs are catchy, the main singer doesn't try to act sexy. She just sings and acts like herself. How often does that happen? Anyway, here they are!:
